Twitter offers a true black dark mode called "Lights Out". This true dark mode will ease the strain on your eyes, and it also helps to save battery on OLED displays. This wikiHow will help you to enable the "Lights Out" mode on Twitter.

  1. Log on to your Twitter account. Go to www.twitter.com on your desktop browser and log in with your account, if you haven't already done so.

  2. Click on the option. You can see it in the left menu panel. When you click on it, a drop-down menu will appear on your screen.

  3. Click on the settings. It will be the second-last option in the drop-down menu. The customization panel will show up.

  4. Select . Navigate to the "Background" title, then click on the button and hit "Done" to enable the true black theme on Twitter.

    • You can also change Twitter's default colour code from the customization menu.
  5. Finished. If you want to restore Twitter's default theme, just navigate to the "Display" settings and select "Default" as the Background option. That's it!
